Speech title: Tracing Insect Pests: Is There New Potential in Molecular Techniques?

Prof. Chongyang Liang, Jilin University, China

Prof. Liang participated in the research and development of a biological first-class innovative drug preparation - Jizhiyuan injection; completed a number of Pre-IND and IND applications to the US FDA and China's NMPA, and was approved for clinical trials in China and the United States; Develop the application of surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) in cell biology, especially in the field of high-throughput drug screening. In recent years, SERS has been used to identify organelle function, analyze cell surface sugar chains, detect tumor markers, screen drug activities of PARP1 inhibitors, KRAS 4B inhibitors, etc.. More than 20 related academic papers have been published; Develop the application of electrochemistry, SERS and other biosensors for cell biology and POCT diagnosis, has finished CRISPR-PAA chip that can be used for lymphoma single base mutation diagnosis; Develop the application of ultra-micro volumn printing technology for spatial transcriptome technology, and the work has been supported by domestic single-cell sequencing leading enterprises and NSFC.
